The furniture is made with the measurements we have taken in your home. It makes the difference between utilizing every centimeter and covering gaps with a trim.
Why does the measure change so much?
Standard furniture comes in fixed widths. If your space measures 43 cm, they give you one that is 40 and cover the remaining 3. Repeat that three or four times in a kitchen and you have lost an entire cabinet.
The same happens with height. The standard countertop is at 90 cm because it is an average, not because it is your height. If you are tall or short at home, it adjusts: your back will thank you every day.
Where We Don’t Save
A kitchen opens and closes thousands of times a year and gets wet daily. There are three points where cutting corners is costly, and we don’t do it:
- The edges. This is where water enters and swells a board. They are sealed, without exception.
- The hardware. Full extraction guides and hinges with dampers, branded and with their warranty.
- The cabinet under the sink. It is the first to fail in any kitchen. It is reinforced and has a protected bottom.
