How wide is needed?

There must be a minimum corridor of 120 cm between the two opposing fronts. With less than that, you cannot open a drawer and the dishwasher door at the same time, and the kitchen becomes uncomfortable just when it is used the most.

With 150 cm, two people can fit comfortably. Above 180 cm, you start to walk more, and then an L-shaped layout with an island usually compensates better.

Two corners to solve

A U has two corners instead of one. They are solved just like in the L, with extras, and it is advisable to decide this from the design stage because it affects which piece of furniture goes in each spot.

When a U-shape fits in Playa Flamenca

A U needs width: three runs and room to open the doors. In terraced duplexes, from the nineties to 2010, sometimes it fits and sometimes it does not.

Kitchens round here tend to be open to the living room and with a window, so we measure before proposing one. If it will not fit, an L gives you almost the same storage.

Yes. We work during normal hours, protect the passage, and clean up at the end of each day. What you won’t be able to do is cook, so it’s advisable to have a plan for those days.
How long will I be without a kitchen?
Counting from the day we start at your place: between two and three weeks for a full renovation, and less than a week if we are only changing the units. The fitting itself is two days; the rest is getting ready and whatever work is needed. We put the timeline in writing in the quote, and we fit in Playa Flamenca with our own team, so it does not depend on third parties.

It depends on the quality chosen, but for a small and economical kitchen, just the furniture without appliances, we can estimate from 250 euros per linear meter.
